Mark Lieber, Founder

For the past ten years, Mark has dedicated his life to telling stories of human suffering, resilience, and hope through documentaries, photographs, and blogs. After working on staff at National Geographic Television in New York from 2007-2011, Mark then began a freelance career, focusing on issues of global health and complex humanitarian emergencies. His projects have covered a wide range of topics including prison reform in the United States, the 2011 East Japan earthquake and radiation spill, maternal health in rural Malawi, and jaguar tracking in Brazil, among others. He is now an Internal Medicine resident physician at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and served as the 2017-2018 Stanford-CNN Global Health and Media Fellow.
